Control System Assessment

Remote sessions with your team and a review of your system exports, ending in a written report and a fixed quote for the work we recommend. You keep the report whether or not you hire us to do anything about it. The work that follows an assessment is fixed-bid.

  • Optional onsite walkdown: $ 2,800 per day plus travel expenses, when findings need physical verification.
  • Onsite within the continental US; international quoted case-by-case.
  • Assessment terms: what we need from you, when it is due, payment, and turnaround.

Reserve capacity in advance and the day rate comes down. Capacity is sold in days but drawn one hour at a time, so a short call costs an hour.

Terms

  • The list day rate is $ 2,800: eight hours at $ 350, the base every rate on this site derives from.
  • Onsite work has a one-day minimum. Travel time beyond the first two hours bills at $ 262.50 / hr, expenses at GSA per diem. Continental US; international quoted case-by-case.
  • Capacity resets monthly. Unused days expire.
  • Overtime ($ 525 / hr) and double time ($ 700 / hr) are never discounted, at any tier.
  • Month to month. The discount buys reserved capacity for the month ahead.
  • A retainer reserves capacity in hours, so anything we bill by the hour can draw from it, including support work on a system with no plan. Support plans themselves are subscriptions rather than hours, so they cannot; ongoing attention for what we delivered is a support plan.
Third party

Licenses and hardware we procure

Provided under any project at cost plus a 20% margin, itemized as its own line, the same way our bills of materials show it. The margin is identical whoever we buy from, so nothing about what we specify depends on which vendor discounts hardest. We pick on fit.
