How it goes

Scope, build, run

You can start at any step. Bring a scope and we price it. Bring a system somebody else built and we support it.

    Remote sessions with your team and a review of your system exports, ending in a written report and a fixed quote for the work we recommend. Skip it if you already have a scope.

  2. Build

    Fixed bid, by phase

    Software, hardware, or both. Every project is priced to its own scope. We publish ranges from delivered work so you know what to expect.

  3. Run

    Support once it runs

    Pick a response tier and the response time is in the contract. With no plan we still answer, at the hourly rate, when we get to it.

Control System Assessment

Remote sessions with your team and a review of your system exports, ending in a written report and a fixed quote for the work we recommend. You keep the report whether or not you hire us to do anything about it. The work that follows an assessment is fixed-bid.

  • Optional onsite walkdown: $ 2,800 per day plus travel expenses, when findings need physical verification.
  • Onsite within the continental US; international quoted case-by-case.
  • Assessment terms: what we need from you, when it is due, payment, and turnaround.

Support is priced with each deployment

One tier covers the whole account and sets the response time for everything on it. A plan includes the labor to bring what we delivered back to baseline; new work is quoted. Prices are listed with each deployment type.

Reserve capacity in advance and the day rate comes down. Capacity is sold in days but drawn one hour at a time, so a short call costs an hour.

Every tier includes

  • Priority scheduling: next-business-day response to new requests
  • Reserved capacity: committed days are guaranteed availability
  • 1-hour increments: no day minimum on the time you draw
  • Direct access: through a shared Slack or Teams channel
  • Monthly planning check-in

Terms

  • The list day rate is $ 2,800.
  • Onsite work has a one-day minimum. Travel time beyond the first two hours bills at $ 262.50 / hr, expenses at GSA per diem. Continental US; international quoted case-by-case.
  • Capacity resets monthly. Unused days expire.
  • Overtime ($ 525 / hr) and double time ($ 700 / hr) are never discounted, at any tier.
  • Month to month. The discount buys reserved capacity for the month ahead.
  • A retainer reserves hours, so any hourly work can draw from it, including support on a system with no plan. Support plans are subscriptions, not hours, so they do not draw from a retainer; ongoing attention for what we delivered is a support plan.
Third party

Licenses and hardware we procure

Provided under any project at cost plus a 20% margin, itemized as its own line, the same way our bills of materials show it. The margin is the same whoever we buy from, so we pick hardware on fit, not on vendor discounts.
